install Win10 of the same version (Home Edition?) and after installation enter the key. She will be licensed.

OEM is not some special image, type of delivery. OEM is just a disk with an activation code on a sticker for use on one computer. Another option is BOX. There is an activation code on the box and you do not need to glue it anywhere. The distribution itself is the same. So download the image from the MS site and don't worry.

If the sticker refers to Windows 7, then in this case I always put the same edition as from the factory (I usually look at the manufacturer's website for the model, which edition is supplied). The only thing I don’t understand is how the system automatically picks up the key on branded PCs and laptops for commenters. Rather, it picks up, but does not activate. For successful activation, you still have to install a manufacturer's certificate. I find them on the Internet on request like "xrm-ms vendorname". By the way, in the case of licensed Windows 7, the life hack with updating to Windows 10 is still relevant: the Windows 10 Upgrade Tool is downloaded, they are still available on the Internet, the system is updated to Win 10 1709, in my opinion, then the Windows Media Creation Tool is downloaded from the Microsoft website and with its help the system is updated to the latest current build. The activation is saved.
