How to find a stable remote job as a web developer? Is it real?

Now I work as a Web developer at a large enterprise, I like everything, except that I have to physically get up every morning and go to work. There have never been any problems with self-motivation, so I would work the same way at home. Is it possible to find something stable on the basis of which you can build plans for the future? For I cannot rely on Freelance and one-time orders. What spectrum can be considered for a web developer, and what salaries are we talking about?
Again, I'm looking for a permanent stable job.

You can find a permanent remote.
But there are points worth considering.
Firstly, it depends on your location, if you are from a large city, then be prepared to "move" in the sn.
Secondly, be prepared to take on a wider range of responsibilities - if necessary, you will need to configure the server or find / draw an icon.
Thirdly, the degree of responsibility is higher - you set an estimate - you have to keep up, it is clear in the office that you worked all day, but for some reason did not have time, and remote conditions will be tougher, tk. The main criterion for evaluating your work is the completion of tasks on time.

If you can’t physically get up and go to work, then you won’t be able to work remotely, you’ll only set people up

Yes it is possible.
To begin with, it is worth discussing the issue of moving to a remote location with your current superiors.
- salary
+ retention of seniority
+ flexible schedule
+ opportunity to work on your own projects
In addition, if you look at vacancies on headhunting and freelance sites, you can find offers for remote work there.
In general, any freelancer with experience often receives offers from clients for permanent cooperation.

The larger the enterprise, the more fucked up the management there and the less buzz for the developer. Only startups, only hardcore.

But I found it and left the enterprise.

It's quite real. Only the salary will be average for the market or slightly less. I will say as a "capitalist" - why should I hire an expensive specialist from a million-plus city, if I can hire a guy from the outback (even if I can teach him a little) and pay him 2 times less ... And everyone will be happy. Since there he will receive quite a decent salary by local standards.
