How to find a site clone?

On the page of the HotDot studio, I saw a topic hotdot.pro/ru/clones where they list their alleged clones that stole their "designer chip".
Judging by the links, clone sites are scattered all over the world from China to Uzbekistan.
Actually, how can you figure out sites that severely plagiarize your site?

Not quite on topic, but there is a so-called. technique of "dead souls". It was first invented for telephone directories. The bottom line is that harmless errors are deliberately introduced into publicly available data, for example, the phone number of the non-existent Vasya Pupkin, who lives at a non-existent but plausible address. Harmless, because when using the reference book for the intended purpose (intended use), no one will look for Vasya's phone and, therefore, will not suffer from its "inaccuracy".
If someone tries to unauthorizedly copy the directory, recognizing and removing such markers is comparable in terms of labor costs to self-collection of data, which makes the undertaking meaningless.

Clones are easily searched for on the chart.
But in this case, I think that the studio is just PR and these clones were not in sight.

Specifically in our case (Hot Dot) - we did not track anyone purposefully. Most of the copy-pasters got caught on their own laziness / stupidity - the guys kindly copied the site clean, not even bothering to cut out our metric.
With the remaining "smart" minority 386DX described everything correctly.
But in general, fighting clones is a stupid exercise, seeing the demand, we just posted the engine on github
