How to find a function that returns a range number?

I don’t know if I correctly described the essence of the question in the title, but the point is this:
There are, therefore, the numbers k and n:
k∈N
n∈N
0<n<k
We need to find a function f (x) for which something like this would happen: Take,
for example, k = 100 , and n = 3. Then x∈[0,100].
On the range [0, 33) the function should return 0,
On the range [34, 66) the function should return 1,
On the range [67, 100] the function should return 2.
How to find this function?
