How to extract data by site metrics?

Hello! I am developing a CRM and there was a need to drag data from Yandex metrics there, I read the documentation but did not really figure out how best to proceed in my case. What is the best way to collect statistics?

And how do you want to get data from the metric, apart from how through the API????
If you haven't figured out how to get the data, maybe you don't need it at all in your CRM?
