How to export animation from AE to json?

There is a simple flag animation in AE. Solid color plate + text, all overlaid with the Wave Warp effect.
When exporting via Bodymovin to json, it turned out that it was impossible to export effects.
It is advised to do Auto Trace, but apparently I'm doing something wrong, the export is still incorrect.
What to do? Are there export alternatives or possible tracing errors?

Wave Warp does not work when exporting to Lottie ☝️ .
Auto Trace is a good solution as it will create separate shapeframes.
But you need to fine-tune Auto Trace, as this is an automatic process.
I did a project with a flag on Lottie, the solution was to use a high resolution flag - then Auto Trace picks up the waves better, and then reduce the composition if necessary.
