How to expand bios settings (hp pavilion dv6 laptop)?

Good afternoon! I have a hp pavilion dv6 6b03er laptop. I bought an ssd for him, inserted it into a laptop, he didn’t detect it, I googled it and it turned out that I needed to change the sata parameters in the settings. The problem is that in my bios there is no such parameter, the latest version for my laptop, which is already installed on the hp website. Question: how to expand these settings? or what other version is suitable for my laptop? or with some other manipulations, you can make the ssd disk visible?

I suspect you are booting via UEFI.
Make a GPT install disk like SO , or SO .
Boot from it, repartition the disk, install the system.
You can try to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS, and enable Legacy instead of UEFI (if any).

Hello, I have a similar problem. I put ssd instead of hdd installed a bootable flash drive with win7 on board, but when choosing a disk, ssd is not. Asks for a driver for the disk. Where to dig? In the BIOS, there are no tabs to enable achi.
