How to expand 720p Youtube video to full width?

Right now Youtube container width is limited to 970 pixels.
Is there a way, by clicking on 720p in the quality settings, to change the width of the container to 1280px?
Googled a lot, looking for plugins. At least write yourself.

You can play with user css. I tried it in developers tools - it helps on my interface.
If you tell me how to switch to yours (recommendations are not to the right of the video, but from the bottom), then I'll try to roll it up. True, here the size of the video will not depend on the quality. It can simply be made bigger than it is.
