How to exclude .idea from phpstorm project?

Good afternoon.
I can't figure out why .gitignore doesn't work for me.
Added the .idea folder in 3 different ways.


Installed .ignore plugin in phpstorm but still .idea shows up in commit history.

You probably first committed the directory, and then added it to .gitignore? Here in the gita, what was left before the ignore.
