Is it possible to exclude a folder from indexing without hiding it? For example, there are more than a thousand files in node_modules than in the project, and for real, about ten of them need to be indexed. Therefore, it would be great not to force the operative and exclude these thousands of files, but at the same time not hiding them. It's like an example.

You can only exclude entire directories from indexing, not individual files:
