How to evaluate traffic sources for websites?

There are several sites of competitors, I would very much like to understand where the traffic comes from, how much it is and what requests they go for. There are similarweb and semrash for these purposes, maybe I missed something?

Yes, actually the essence of the problem is not entirely clear. There are a bunch of services that help (at least approximately) evaluate traffic and its sources. Service examples: ahrefs, serpstat, se ranking, etc.
