How to estimate the cost of a project (electronics + iOS)?

Good afternoon!
A complex task has appeared: it is necessary to develop control electronics for several engines (DPT) and lighting (incandescent lamps), as well as an iOS application to control all this stuff.
How to calculate the cost of such a project?
PS I do not want to break the price, I want to learn how to calculate the cost correctly.

I propose to do it the way they do in enterprises.
The cost of components + the cost of your work per hour multiplied by the number of hours + travel expenses + commissioning + desired profit.
You can deduct 5-10% if further cooperation or product support is expected.
You must clearly understand what and from what you will do, so as not to be in the red.
What program and how much time will you write.
It is very important. If you eventually earn zero, then it is better not to take this job. Except to keep up your pants.

To correctly calculate the cost, you need to be an engineer with operating experience. Otherwise, you will pick up trash from Ali, which will fall from the first sneeze, and its operating cost will many times exceed the purchase cost.
Your task is so vague that it is impossible to say anything. You know that there are at least 4 types of electric motors (collector, asynchronous, synchronous, stepping, you can still dig), and depending on the parameters of the drive, you need to choose the right one, because they have different electromechanical and operational parameters (if the collector just needs a source current, for asynchronous, if you please, put a chastotnik and so on).
The same goes for light. There are incandescent lamps, there are spotlights of various kinds, there are pulsed gas discharge lamps - without design education and knowledge of standards, you will design nonsense, and then you will end up in a blog with a fix-papus .
