How to enter ICQ, but leave messages on the server? (resolved)?

Probably a stupid question...
I haven't used ICQ for a long time. The history of ICQ correspondence was stored on one computer, and now I'm on another. Now I would like to go see how things are going there and force all my friends to switch to Jabber .
Can you tell me how (software for Windows/Android/Ubuntu and/or settings, web services) I can enter ICQ, but so that all my unread messages do not fall out on me, but remain on the ICQ server? I want to log in sometime later from the first computer, and so that they come to me there, and there is a complete history of correspondence.

Offline messages can not only be read, but also deleted, unlike the rest. Accordingly, they can be read and not deleted. Jimm had such a checkmark. In R & Q and now there are checkboxes (settings - launch).

don't they have a limited lifespan?
It always seemed to me that they are not stored on the server forever and after a certain period they are deleted.
interesting official opinion on this matter.
On topic, I don't think so.

Offline messages have a TTL of 14 days if I'm not mistaken.

experiment with qip
, they seem to have made history storage on their servers, but I need to clarify - I haven’t tried it myself.

After a couple of cases when I got into the same situation, I just decided to carry the base with me on a flash drive (I use Miranda). As an option, store in a dropbox or similar program. True, this is not an answer to the question posed, but I strongly doubt that there is a way to connect to ICQ without receiving messages from the server.
