After waking up from sleep mode, wi-fi fell off. Reboot didn't help.
I use an external adapter tp-link 722N

I solved the problem . You
need to do the following:
run under sudo
service network-manager stop
rm /var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state
service network-manager start
