How to enable T1 smart card protocol?

Hello! I am developing a smart card reader that supports both T0 and T1. If there were no problems with T0, then with T1 from the very beginning of the problem: it’s not entirely clear to me from ISO how, in principle, you can switch the card to T1 (the card supports this type). I read in smart catd handsbook that you can do this through warm reset, but, alas, it didn’t work out
