How to enable innodb_large_prefix in Mashka?

Masha (10.1.37 MariaDB) as part of XAMPP for Windows. How do you enable large_prefix anyway? I changed my.ini file, set innodb_large_prefix=1, innodb_file_format = barracuda, but nothing helps.
In theory, all fresh Mashki and MySQL should already support large_prefix out of the box (like starting with version 10)
