How to enable autocomplete fields when re-commenting?

When an unauthorized visitor fills in the comment fields (name, email, website), this data has to be entered again each time. How to make it so that when you comment again, these fields retain the previously entered values? The wp_get_current_commenter function is present in wp-includes/comment.php but it doesn't change anything.

Found a solution. In the admin panel, the "discussion" menu had to be activated "Show a checkmark for allowing cookies to be set for comment authors.". The user can then choose whether to store the field values.
