How to enable a menu item on a child page in wordpress?

I use the navigation component on a Wordpress site. But there is such a problem: the active menu item is active in the section itself, and in the child pages of the section it is no longer active. For example, when I have the "Articles" section, the menu item is active, but on the detailed page of each article it is not active. How to make sure that there is activity on child pages as well?
