How to embed video on wordpress site using script?
This page tells how to make such a video, but when pasted into WordPress, it is not displayed.

Most likely, the tag is cut out when pasting <script></script>
. You should add it to the list of allowed tags.

In most cases, the VI's visual editor inserts the video player itself. You just need to paste the link to the video.

Alternatively, you can create a shortcode and paste using it. As far as I remember, the Add Shortcodes Actions And Filters plugin allows you to do this in visual mode.
Also, in the latest versions of WordPress, the ability to work with Embeds has been improved. I really haven't had a chance to figure out what's what yet. But as far as I understand, now you can change the automatically inserted code. Perhaps this will help in solving your problem.
