How to effectively test video chat?

Hello.
Made a video chat. During the tests, I realized that the connection occurs every other time. Found the cause and fixed it. Now suspicions that the reason remains. How can I efficiently and preferably test video chat automatically? I use the peer.js + node.js library for the server
