How to edit deleted files in VIM?

Good afternoon!
Not so long ago I decided to try VIM and immediately the question arose of how to edit remote files via ssh.
I googled and came to this result - :e sftp://<user>@<host>/path/to/file
But this method turned out to be, frankly, not convenient for me.
Can I connect to the server via ssh, view the list of files via netrw or NERDTree for example, maybe there are special plugins for this?
Thank you.

You can mount a remote resource somewhere on your system and treat files there as if they were local. The instruction is searched for in 5 minutes.
