There was a need to reinstall OC. I downloaded the latest version of Ubuntu from the official site, uploaded it to a USB flash drive, with the USB flash drive inserted, the BOOT menu freezes completely, that is, nothing can be changed there, as soon as you stick out the USB flash drive - everything is fine. I'm waiting for your help.
UPD. Before that, I formatted the flash drive, because. on it lay another OC.

1 First, check the checksum of the downloaded image (it seems md5sum)
2 Take another flash drive

Install unetbootin (both under Linux and under Windows), make it a bootable flash drive from the iso, boot by selecting the device in the BIOS menu.
