How to do tension, rebound and stop the platform?

On the gif, I demonstrate exactly how I want the script to work, I just don’t understand how to implement the platform stop when it returns, I set AddForce every 5 seconds, but I can’t stop it.

Is AddForce definitely required there? Why every 5 seconds?
If you do through it, then you should add rb to the block so that the platform crashes into it.
Is it possible to get by with just a smooth change of coordinates (it will be less resource-intensive)?
