Bitrix Why 404 doesn't work correctly?

Error 404 works strangely.
Suppose there is a product:
site.ru/category/subcaterory/productname/
if there is no existing category (site.ru/categoryQEQWE/subcaterory/productname/) or product (site.ru/category/subcaterory/productnameQWEQWE/) , then everything works, the header is 404 and the page is corresponding
if the subcategory is wrong (site.ru/category/subcateroryQWEQWE/productname/) or/and anything is added at the end of the url (site.ru/category/subcaterory/productname/QWE/qwe/ QWEQWE), the page returns the code 200 and redirects to the category page.
What could be the problem?
