How to do a secure network setup in Linux remotely?

Good evening, I remember reading on habrahabr about a package / utility for Linux, which allows you to autonomously roll back network settings if, after updating the settings, communication with the server is lost.
I can't find references now.
I will be glad for any help.

I don’t know what kind of utility, but there is an option to roll back through crond.
