On a trip with one iPhone and a MacBook, you come to another country like this, I would like to have an Internet all the time. You reconnect another SIM card to your phone - you lose Internet banking with SMS confirmations.
So another SIM card needs to be plugged into another device.
USB routers as a class do not exist at all, everything that I see on sale is locked under the operator.
I do not want to buy some cheap android for this.
