How to distribute the Internet from one Keenetic router to another?
Hello.
Home Internet scheme: provider -> keenetic ultra -> cables to devices. Everything is working.
Then I got another keenetic lite II. There is a task to connect it as a device after the first router and distribute the Internet from it to a couple more devices.
The settings have been reset. What is the problem: I plug a cable from router #1 into the WAN port, router #2 receives IP from the first router, everything is fine.
But at the same time, the Internet on the router #2 itself does not work (it cannot receive updates and does not ping to any sites).
Where to dig? Thank you.

You need to change the ip of the second keenetic so that there is no conflict. If you want to use 2 keenetic as a router, then there must be different addresses: 192.168.x.1 and 192.168.y.1. If you want to use it as an access point, then the addresses: 192.168.1.x and 192.168.1.y, x and y are NOT from the dhcp range.
Kenetics have special operating modes for this case https://zyxel.ru/kb/4548/
If you need to expand the Wi-Fi zone with an Ethernet connection, you need the Access Point mode.
If you do not have these modes, update the firmware and select these modes in the System - Update section
