How to display the text from the database when clicking on the block?

There are several blocks on the page, one of which is empty. The rest have headers taken from the database. When you click on one of these blocks, a query should be made to the database and in the empty block the text that refers to the clicked block should be displayed. How can I do that? It would be nice with a code example.
