How to display the desired text in a multilingual site?

I have a bilingual site. I output such a chunk using the snippet

<li>
  <a href="" class="">babel.language_
  </a>
</li>

I want to make it so that when a visitor is on the Russian version, there is a link from the signature EN to the English version, and vice versa, when in English, then write RU to switch to the Russian version
