How to display subtitles on LG 42ls345t TV?

Greetings.
There is TV LG 42ls345t. When viewing mkv files with subs, or other video files with external subs, there is a display problem. The subtitle language is correct. Subtitle display is enabled. But subs are not displayed.
I already changed the encoding of external files, and renamed the files, and threw everything into a new folder. There is no effect.
Maybe someone came across and knows the solution?

After all this time, I finally found a way. You need to use external subtitles. In my case it is srt.
If the mkv file is originally used, then you need to use a program to extract subtitles. I am using MKVextractGUI from MKVtoolnix package. There is also a MKVinfoGUI program with which you can find out which subtitles to extract.
