How to display section elements in the admin panel according to nesting?

Hey!
I have a Category with subcategories, I want to get ONLY the news from the parent category. Excluding children. Kind of like folders in Windows.
I tried to switch the View mode of sections and elements: both separate and shared.
In the case of a separate one, I have the following picture, being in the parent section, I see only child categories:

After clicking on * news, I see news that are in the child category - promotions

I switched the view mode of sections and elements to joint, I got the following picture:

As a result news that are in the subcategory "shares" immediately fall out.
How to view posts ONLY in the parent category?
PS: if you specify in the filterSection: Top level - similarly, all records of child sections are displayed
