There is a SLR camera, how can I connect it to a computer and broadcast video, for example, on Skype, as if from a webcam?

the general scheme is the
camera (video output - rca/hdmi/) -> video capture card -> splitcam -> skype
but isn't it better to just buy a good webcam that can do real fullHD? :)
