How to display an image from a computer to a TV in real time?

Hello,
There was a need to display an image from a computer to a TV in real time. At the moment, video file sharing is used, but this has become insufficient. TV - Samsung ue55d8000. Connected via Ethernet cable. I read about WiDi technology - it seems that I need something similar, this function is not provided for in this TV, can I buy a receiver? What's the best way to do it?

If the TV finds a DLNA server on your computer, you can display the desktop and sound from your computer on the TV. (tversity.com) - there is both a server and a screen server.
