How to display a product on the main page in a Prestashop template?

Hello, I installed a free template from templatemonster on Prestashop, installed demo data, but the products do not appear on the main page of the site, I tried to delve into the settings of the modules, but did not understand where to enable them. I am attaching the skins both on the demo of the template itself, and how I have it after installation without the product.
Can this problem be due to the fact that the template is for version 1.6, and I have 1.6.1 installed

I have already tried the settings of these modules, and I did everything exactly according to this link, as described there, but the products still do not appear in the Popular menu, New Products, or Bestsellers. Switched to the default template, same thing. Maybe a glitch in Prestashop itself, I'm already thinking of reinstalling Prestashop and trying another template, maybe some kind of glitch arose when installing this template.
Interestingly, I add a new product, and it also does not fall into the new arrivals menu.
