How to disable Web Storage in Firefox and Chrome?

And in general, how do you think it is worth providing for the operation of a site that uses Web Storage for browsers without its support?
In general, everyone already supports: caniuse.com/#feat=namevalue-storage

FF
about:config => dom.storage.enabled
Open “Options” and select “Under the Hood” Tab. Click on “Content settings…”, select “Cookies” and set “Block sites from setting any data”.
