You can comment in the module, just read the manual. I'm afraid to advise because you can break everything even more (for example, completely remove the configuration from support)
Then if an error comes out in the code, update to a more current version, there are a lot of fixes there. What configuration and version do you have? (Does your platform version correspond to the required version for the configuration?)
