Good afternoon. The proximity sensor has gone (most likely).
The phone goes off when called, I can not hang up until the interlocutor hangs up.
In principle, I decided this by switching the reset to the power button, but another important point is that I cannot dial numbers during a conversation, well, or multitask. I can't even turn on speakerphone. In short, the phone essentially turns into a non-working one because of such a stupid little thing.
I googled for 2 days and didn't find an answer to my question. I’m dying, it’s all done on purpose, causing difficulties for users and artificially aging devices, adding such a vulnerable moment to a reliable device. But that's not the point.
Yesterday I demolished the factory system and installed LineageOS in the hope that this feature is there. But no, alas, no.
How to completely disable Proxomity Sensor? Preferably without root (otherwise I installed LineageOS, but without root, but if necessary, I'll reinstall it again with root)
