When you switch the keyboard layout from one language to another and start typing, the typing always starts with the second letter, the first letter typed is ignored. And in some programs like notepad there is still a vile thing when, after switching layouts, you start typing and drop-down menus immediately pop up on the control panel in notepad, such as hot keys are activated, as I understand it (you have to click LMB on an empty space on the sheet to reset the drop-down lists) . When you switch the layout, click on the input field with the left mouse button and all letters will be printed this way.
You can also try to change the keyboard layout switch button: 1) Language bar
