How to disable terminal auto-opening in VS Code?
The problem started suddenly. Once I needed to enable the terminal from under vs code by pressing ctrl + ` and now every time I start the editor on any of my vs code projects it kindly expands the terminal. It is somewhat annoying to close it all the time, but I could not find the appropriate option in the settings. Google it too. Tell me how to finally prevent vs code from automatically showing the terminal?

The reason was a crooked Unity Debugger extension that enabled C# dependencies checks every time VS Code was opened, even in php/nodejs projects. As soon as I disabled this extension, the problem stopped. It is noteworthy that the extension was installed a long time ago, and the problem arose recently. It turns out that a bug crept into the extension update.
