How to disable sleep mode while application is running?
Why does the OS go to sleep even though something as obviously important as uploading or downloading over the network (in this case, uploading to the cloud through a browser) is going on? And how can this be configured, set so that the OS does not go into sleep mode if there are active processes? Let's say, as with media playback, when the system fixes and knows that it is impossible to switch now.

Because most background processes are not considered "work".
I solved the same problem, in several cases, by turning off the native screw switches, installing the PowerOFF program and configuring it. It has the ability to monitor both network and CPU usage.
