I ran into this problem: at some point the program began to issue a request to save files without a name (new1, new2, etc.). Previously, you could quickly paste a piece of text into a new file and close notepad, and this blank would remain there. And now every time he asks to save somewhere. It takes a lot of time and is stressful. Didn't find anything on google. Recently, I haven’t added plugins, I haven’t delved into the settings.

Settings -> Preferences -> Backup -> Remember current session for next launch, and make sure that the path for snapshots is correctly specified.
