Assigning hotkeys to enter and exit full-screen mode:
Open "System Preferences" (System Preferences) and click on the "Keyboard" icon;
Go to "Keyboard Shortcuts", and select the "Application Shortcuts" tab from the list on the left;
Click on the "+" icon to add a new keyboard shortcut for all applications and enter:
Go to full screen mode
Now you need to assign a keyboard shortcut to go to full screen mode, for example, you can select Command + Escape;
Click the "Add" button, then click the "+" icon again, and type:
Exit Full Screen Mode
Again, select the same keyboard shortcut (Command + Escape), and click "Add" again;
Close System Preferences.
Now, in any application that supports full screen mode, such as Safari, you can use the Command+Escape shortcut (or the keyboard shortcut you assigned) to enter or exit full screen mode.
Push - now the Esc button will no longer work as an exit from full screen mode
I don’t know how to disable it, I suspect that it’s in the settings-keyboard-shortcuts;)
but what you can use Esc to exit full-screen - I didn’t know, thanks;) for me - it’s so convenient;)
