Is it possible to somehow prevent other people from editing my pages in MediaWiki
if I'm just a user and I don't have access to the settings of Mediawiki itself, respectively?

Unless this MW has an extension installed for it. There is no emnip option out of the box.

Ask the administrator to add you to the group and protect the required pages from being modified by members from another group.
