How to disable chan_sip in Asterisk and leave only res_pjsip?

So far, I have empirically determined that if you remove / make the sip_general_additional.conf file empty, then chan_sip is cut down. But something tells me that this is the wrong approach.

To disable any module at the loading stage, you need to add an entry like this to modules.conf
But, Asterisk development has historically been built around chan_sip. I have never tried it on the latest versions, maybe now it is already possible to disable it, but before, too much functionality was lost with it.
