How to disable boxcollider2d trigger only for another boxcollider2d?

I'm new to Unity and can't seem to find a clear answer to this question. Game on Unity2D. There are 2 objects (player and opponent) on which box colliders and a ridget bady hang, the player and opponent can move, I need to make sure that they can pass through each other without falling through the ground, how to do this? When triggers are disabled, they simply fall endlessly, and when enabled, they stumble over each other.
