How to disable auto-update of a specific Firefox plugin?

Situation:
There is FireFox 3.6.19. No 5.0.1 and other "new versions", refuse. This thread is needed. There is a set of useful plug-ins, one of which constantly strives to be updated to a new version, in which support for 5.0.x is improved, but support for 3.X is broken.

Question:
Is it possible to prevent one specific plugin from updating without affecting the successful auto-update of others?

There is one more option.
You can fix the plugin itself.
Change its name. Download the plugin xpi file, this is a regular zip archive. We find install.rdf in it.
And we change this unique plugin id in it. we also change.
After we save, delete the old addon and install ours.
I painted in more detail .
