How to differentiate the visibility of documents, directories in 1C by branches in 1C 8.3 USP 2.0?

In general, the task is to delimit the visibility of users in 1C for directories, sales and other documents. So that the user of one branch sees only the sales of his branch. The second user is the second branch, etc.

If it is on the BSP, then see the instructions for the "access control" subsystem. You may need to tweak the config. In 1s, search in the area Administration -> User and rights settings -> Restrict access at the record level.
If not on the BSP, then you need to look at the specific implementation and cut.

nominally:
Directories no
Documents, most likely yes.
Search in user settings. More precisely, it's better to call your "locals". It is not possible to find out how all 1s configs work) I have enough RF. Although if you look, you can tell bylob.

In the General case, there is a "RLS" (Record Level Security) mechanism for this, or access restriction at the record level.
BUT: this mechanism will have a rather strong impact on the performance of the Base (everywhere where there is a limitation, the brakes will be felt), but with minimal costs it will be possible to do what you want, and it will be in the 1st base.
The 2nd option, which is usually found in practice - databases are created for each Branch and a "Distributed database" is configured (exchanges between branch databases and the central one). Thus, usually each branch works with its own information, which, through standard exchanges, flows into the central one.
