How to develop as an android developer?

2 years worked in technical support, but the main goal was to break into the developers. Now I have been working as an android developer in the same office for half a year. But there is a feeling that I am not growing at all, because. the main goal here is to provide the client with a product as soon as possible (usually, these are separate modules that solve the same type of tasks that the client must integrate into his applications himself). We do not have a code review, there is no way to consult with a more experienced specialist. I even test the work of the modules myself (given that I am not a tester, I miss some nuances).
Recently I was interviewed for a Junior Developer position, but unfortunately, I was refused. This was the only vacancy for beginners in my city. All other vacancies require experience with a large number of technologies that I have not encountered at my current place of work (and are unlikely to encounter). Of course, I study something in my free time, write my own small projects, but this, apparently, is not enough.
How can you develop in development in such conditions? Maybe I should quit my job altogether?

The point is not that it is faster, but that the range of products is limited, if the management respects you enough, then you should consult with him and offer to do something new together, but if it "specifically scored" on any updates and you really bored, it is better to start looking for a new job, great people had such career turns, for example Anders Hejlsberg.
Try freelancing, there are orders down to the zero level, there are small orders that require you to learn new technology at least at the Hello world level, and usually there is a lot of freedom for imagination, but don’t impose too much and don’t complain that the customer doesn’t pay for what he not necessary.

Don't forget the main thing!!!
The mobile application programmer has direct access to buyers! A violinist is not needed)
+ The consumer buys with his eyes, this means teaching how to make beautiful interfaces

How can you develop in development in such conditions?

By the way, you did not indicate what you know, technologies, languages, finished projects, links to your portfolio. What were the interview requirements for the new job? In order to advise you something sensible, you need to know this minimum.
Well, if in general, then I will join the above, and besides, freelancing is a real experience, + not free!)
If such thoughts are already visiting you, then you really need to urgently change something! For practice or portfolio development, you can try both freelancing and open source! But there is a main rule: "Always look for a job when you have a job!" That is, do not try to quit and look for a job while sitting at home, it often takes months, + this is fundamentally wrong, so you can lose self-confidence, self-esteem will fall, the level of motivation will decrease ... And as a result, depression is possible! Read my post in the Android Junior topic, how to start?
Take a full day off to reassess what you have done, be with yourself and your thoughts. You yourself know the answers to all questions, you just need to calm down, stop, look back and think about what has already been done, and what else can and should be done! Good luck and stay positive!
