How to determine which kernel versions are compatible with the current version of Ubuntu?

Hey everyone,

running ukuu on Ubuntu 18.04 brings up a huge number of kernels available. Is there some kind of table that shows the maximum recommended version? Or all compatible/recommended versions?

all the best,
Vadim

Short answer - all compatible, but on lower kernels, it's better not to rollback, especially if laptop.

@pfg21

take the latest kernel variation available for 18.04
, see what you need, but it's better to take the universal generic
