How to determine what is loading the RAM?

There is a laptop with 4 GB of memory (2 dies of 2 GB). Recently, the task manager writes that the memory is loaded by 90+%, while even 1GB is not typed in the list of processes. Comp tupit kanesh and campaign overheats, almost non-stop "blowing". Tell me how to understand what's wrong? Maybe the plate is dead? Could this be related to the SSD? Antivirus standard Windows Defender. OS Windows 8.1. Thank you in advance for your help.

Try looking through Process Explorer. It shows both services and running programs.

In the Win7 manager, you could select columns and there was such as "Allocated memory", that is, reserved by the application, but possibly not currently used. In win8, it seems that the columns are no longer selectable. I assume that your memory goes exactly to this, look at the download with a third-party application.

right-click on the taskbar - start task manager - "processes" tab - click "display processes of all users" from the bottom, sort the "memory" column for clarity
